The Importance of Vocational Training
Our responsibility to our students is to introduce career options and
provide experiences to develop appropriate social skills required for
successful employment. Necessary skills need to be taught hands-on
and/or in real-life settings.
Local businesses and other organizations that invest in the employment,
recruitment and retention of people with disabilities provide
cost-effective workforce solutions that maximize performance and revenue
within the community. APTS actively seeks partnerships within the
business community to establish working relationships with organizations
that would engage our students in productive work while providing needed
services for their business.
